About Betsy

I desire to improve the quality of life for the elderly, reduce their stress, and give companionship to those who spend much of their time alone. I'm looking for a job that consists of a team - me, the person being cared for, and their family - working together to fill in the gaps where needed. Helping an individual maintain their independence as much as possible is a high priority to me. I highly value integrity and honor. I live my life based on Christian values. Quality is important to me in all that I do. My skills include training received through a position previously held for 4. 5 years with a local home-care agency, CPR certification, excellent communication skills, and engaging interactions. I started caring for seniors in 2017 as a secondary job to my full-time job with AccuWeather, where I'm currently employed.
