Hi! I'm a certified special education teacher with a Master's in Curriculum Leadership and Instruction, currently going into my third year teaching preschool special education. My work is rooted in helping young learners build independence, confidence, and foundational life skills through structured, play-based support. In my classroom, we focus heavily on: • Self-help skills (dressing, toileting routines, hand washing, feeding) • Communication development (including AAC, visuals, and core vocabulary) • Social-emotional learning (turn-taking, following routines, identifying feelings) • Pre-academic readiness (attention, task completion, early literacy and math exposure) • Motor skills (fine motor for writing, gross motor for movement and play)
