I am a certified elementary and secondary teacher. I graduated with my bachelor's degree in elementary education from Thiel College and I have a master's degree in special education from Edinboro University. My career of caring for kids began in high school when I began baby-sitting children for friends of my family. I was also a counselor to children and adolescents at Camp Lutherlyn. I worked for 10 years as a middle school teacher and am currently staying home with my 2-year-old daughter. I have a 7-year-old son as well. I believe in safe sleep, child led routines and am very familiar with breastfeeding and breast milk handling. However, please know I believe FED is best and I will feed your baby in whatever ways work best for your family! I do not hold current certification in AED/CPR though I have been trained in it repeatedly.
