About Beth

Retired RN I'd describe my personality as Friendly, warm and caring I like working with kids because I enjoy nurturing and contributing positively to their development. I'm looking for a job that is rewarding where I feel I make a positive contribution. I started working with kids when I was a preteen as a mother's helper. I had many baby sitting jobs during my teenage years. As a retired RN, early in my career, I held the position of charge nurse in a WBC for NYC Health Department for 5 years. I have 24 credits in elementary education and student taught 1 year with 5th graders. I am a mother of a grown son and have multiple nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. In my spare time, I like to read, walk, workout, garden. One thing you should know about me is I am trustworthy and honest. My skills include encouragement, positive reinforcement, and educating via play.
