Hi! My name is Beth. I am 29 years old and currently working as a nanny in San Diego, but my original passion is working with the elderly. An ideal position for me would include a place for me and my 7 lb Pomapoo to live, but I am open to any job as long as I can afford rent! I have always enjoyed the company of the older generation. I worked in the dining room of a retirement home for almost 5 years as a teenager, and that's where I truly realized my passion. I also worked as a personal caregiver for an elderly man for about a year, which was a life-shaping experience. I went to school for Medical Assisting and do have experience in the medical field, and I take it upon myself to research any specific needs someone has in order to provide the best care possible. I have not worked with the elderly for a while now, but just updating this profile has me remembering how much I loved it! I can play a little guitar and piano, and love to sing, dance, play games, and more :)

Beth is modern day mary poppins. She cared for our children for 5 years and were instrumental in their raising. She always has great ideas to get their creativity going and she goes above and beyond to make sure they feel loved. She nurtures each one individually and helps them become the best version of themselves. She does not get easily flustered by the ups and downs of children rather she is their calm rock. She uses a gentle parenting style acknowledging all the feelings and helped our kids to work through them. She sings, plays guitar, dances, reads, bakes, does crafts, gets them outside playing games - everything. She’s professional and communicates great. We miss her dearly now that she moved away from San Diego and she will forever be a part of our family.
