About Beth

I have cared for children for over 15 years. I have a degree in Early Childhood Education from MSU and taught for a few years at a small private school. I then spent time at an orphanage overseas and had many children under my care at one time. I was responsible for all their daily needs; ranging from feeding and changing to bathing and play-time. I have also done nanny jobs for a week or longer for families with young children and been responsible for these same needs. All of these children I have cared for range in age from a few days old to teenagers. I also have some experience with children with special needs from working as a PCA, my time overseas, and I have an older sister with special needs. I have volunteered in all of our birth-grade 2 classrooms at my church. When caring for children I really enjoy reading with them, going for walks, crafts, and other fun activities. Children are a precious gift and my main goal when caring for them is to keep them safe and to love them.
