About Beth

Learning doesn't look the same for every child, and that's exactly where I shine! I'm a certified Texas Special Education EC-12 and ELAR 4-8 teacher with an AA in Early Childhood Development and a BA in Applied Studies. My approach goes beyond simply helping a child finish homework. I look for the WHY behind the struggle, then find creative ways to make learning click. I can support reading, writing, comprehension, homework, study skills, organization, executive-function skills, and students who need material broken into smaller, manageable steps. My special education experience has taught me that confidence often comes before academic progress. I meet children where they are, build on their strengths, and create a calm, encouraging environment where mistakes are part of learning. Whether your child needs academic support, help getting organized, or simply someone who can explain it differently, I'd love to help them discover what they CAN do.
