I realized my love for seniors, growing up as a preachers daughter. I enjoyed the times we would go and visit the folks in retirement/nursing homes. Along with that, my grandma lived with us for 16 years. We loved that she was up for an adventure. She taught us love, tenderness and compassion. I have also been a companion for a few with Alzheimer's. These individuals and their families, are very dear too my heart. The most precious, unforgettable moments came from my own dad. He was diagnosed with prostate & bone cancer. Being one of the primary caregivers, I would go over daily to help with the daily tasks, along with taking him to chemo & checkups. During this time, I realized what a true privilege it was in doing LIFE with my dad! I would be honored to be apart of doing "Life" with you!
