About Bethany

I have worked as a Medical Assistant and have provided care in both long term/memory care settings and private/in-home. As the daughter of a person living with dementia, I understand the larger family need for supportive care. I'd describe my personality as outgoing, sharp, determined. I like caring for seniors because there is a unique relationship to be had with elders. It requires a respect and understanding that come very natural to me. I'm looking for a job that allows me to help others remain independent, while my child is in school. After some time off, I'm able to give again to empower seniors in staying independent and home, as long as possible. I started caring for seniors in 2005 (supportive care grandparent) then professionally +/- 2013. In my spare time, I enjoy time with family outdoors, volunteering at my child's school and woodwork. One thing you should know about me is I have a caring personality. My skills include understanding, compassion and determination.
