My passion for caregiving stems from decades of positive experiences assisting adults and seniors. As a retired RN with 30 years of experience, I found myself missing the direct connection with those I cared for. Though my license is now inactive, I'm eager to fill that void. Compassionate, friendly, and detail-oriented, I prioritize earning your trust while providing support. I offer verbal updates during visits, ensuring you're informed about your loved one's well-being. I'm also experienced in de-escalating stressful situations and redirecting attention when needed. I am comfortable with pets, as I live on a farm with 2 dogs, 2 miniature donkeys, 2 cats and 5 chickens. I have a car, and can assist with meal preparation. I have some college experience and hold current CPR and First Aid certifications. Graduated from Geisinger School of Nursing. I look forward to bringing my skills and caring nature to your family.
