About Bethany

I have grown up around animals and always considered them as a part of the family. I used to have a female lab-retriever mix and now I have a male black poodle-Chihuahua mix. I also grew up with a male black long haired cat. On numerous occasions for extended amounts of time I have cared for the pets of friends and neighbors (dogs, cats, fish). I have always loved animals and caring for them, which is why I wish to pursue a career as a vet. I am currently in college and looking for summer work with animals, so I can get experience. I actively volunteer at the local humane society near my school in Iowa. I have had dog and cat training, so I have experience with walking/handling dogs and socializing with cats. I am very eager and willing to take care of any pet. I am also willing to learn how to care for certain animals, if I do not have very much experience with it.
