About Bethany

Hello! I am a currently a stay-at-home mom and part-time graduate student at LU working towards my masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I am looking to take on a part-time role as a caregiver where it would be okay for my 19-month-old to join along. I have years of experience working with babies, toddlers, and kids of all ages. My first job as a teenager was babysitting. I also worked at a local daycare and afterschool program in my early twenties. My program at Lesley continues to teach me the importance of human dignity regarding one's physical and mental wellbeing. I aim towards this level of respect with my own child and all the children within my care. I acknowledge big feelings as they come and provide a space for those feelings to be expressed safely. Respecting your child, meeting them where they are at, upholding a safe environment, and creating a fun learning space is what I try to emulate.
