About Bethany

My name is Bethany and I'm a wife and mother of 2 young boys! I was an Elementary Teacher and a Reading Coach for 18 years before becoming a stay-at-home Mama. I have been keeping my teaching state certifications current and up-to-date while I have been out of the classroom. I have been tutoring as well as teaching Bible lessons at our local church. I am looking forward to working with other Elementary students and helping them to be (and feel!) successful in their academics! I'd describe my personality as kind, gentle, easy-going. I like tutoring because it helps me to get to know the student on a personal level and find out what strengths they have to help them be successful in school. I'm looking for a job that has some flexibility but is also rewarding and exciting to see growth and academic success in a student.
