About Bethany
Experience: 2 yrs
I've worked in the past as a tutor in math, science, and computer programming for middle and high school students, and currently am tutoring two students in upper elementary/middle school. Over the past decade my day job has been in engineering, but I have also volunteered with youth STEM education, CASA (mentorship and legal advocacy for foster youth), Hospice of Homer Alaska, and gained experience in crisis de-escalation and other interpersonal work. I have received several trainings in trauma-informed care.
