About Bethania

I am a birth doula and postpartum support provider offering overnight care for families with newborns. My focus during overnight shifts is to help parents rest while providing calm, respectful, and safe newborn care. I support overnight newborn needs including soothing, diaper changes, breastfeeding guidance, bottle feeding (including mixed feeding), and observing normal newborn behaviors. I also offer emotional support and reassurance to parents during the early postpartum period. As a birth doula, I bring a strong understanding of labor, postpartum recovery, and the emotional needs of new parents. I work closely with families, respecting their routines and preferences. I started working with newborns about five months ago after noticing a strong need for continued postpartum and overnight support while working as a birth doula. I describe myself as supportive, attentive, and gentle, and I value trust, clear communication, and creating a calm, nurturing environment.
