About Bernarda

Hello families! My name is Bernarda. I bring warmth, wisdom, and 15+ years of hands-on experience caring for children, seniors, and homes, both in the U. S. and Nicaragua. I'm a proud U. S. resident in Mansfield, TX, and helped raise my three granddaughters, including one with special needs, into strong, successful young women. One is in ROTC, and the others are top students. I believe in love, structure, and creating a safe, happy home where children thrive. Before moving to the U. S., I earned two college degrees and owned a pharmacy. I've cared for infants, supported elderly family with diabetes, and become the go-to caretaker in my family. I cook fresh, healthy meals (my gallo pinto is a favorite!), keep a clean home, and enjoy helping with homework and routines. I speak fluent Spanish and understand written and spoken English. I'm looking for a long-term role with a kind, respectful family.
