About Bernadette

My first babysitting job was when I was 14 years old. Since then, I have had 8 years of experience in child care. I am a senior at Loyola University, New Orleans. This year I have consistently babysat for a family of 2 boys (1 and 3 years old), a family of 3 boys (2-7) and a 2-year-old girl, but I have experience with a wide range of ages, and am comfortable with watching more than 2 kids at once. I am patient and creative. I like to do crafts, play outside and play imaginatively with the kids I watch. Whenever the kids are having fun, I am too, but safety is my main priority. I would never do something a parent would not OK, and I go by parent guidelines always. I have had experience with different parenting styles/ routines. I have found that families have different rules and various levels of structure, and I stick to what that is for each family.
