About Bernadette

My first babysitting job was when I was 14 years old. Since then, I have had 8 years of experience in child care. I am a recent graduate of Loyola University, New Orleans. I have experience with a wide range of ages from infant to pre teen. I am comfortable with watching multiple kids at once. I am patient, creative and attentive to children's needs and emotions. I like to do crafts, play outside, encourage learning and imagination. Whenever the kids are having fun, I am too, but safety is my main priority. I would never do something a parent would not OK, and I go by parent guidelines always. I have had experience with different parenting styles/ routines. I have found that families have different rules and various levels of structure, and I stick to what that is for each family. I am CPR and first aid certified, comfortable with pets, and more than happy to help with household chores, meals, nap time, bed time, bath time, potty training and giving bottles.
