I have always been an animal-lover ever since I was young. I had two dogs and a cat back in the Philippines. Now, I have a 9-year-old cat and a 4-year-old Rottweiler. I adopted our dog when he was almost 2 and went through training school so I am comfortable with any size dog. Prior to having my own pets here in the States, I did overnight care for two dogs (3-year-old and 5-month-old chihuahuas) for about a week while our family friend was out of town for work. I was responsible for daily walks, feeding, and interacting with them. I have also taken care of the older chihuahua when the owner was out of town for work. Also, family whose children I babysit, asked me to take care of two of their cats when they went on a vacation. I was responsible for feeding the cats and cleaning up the cat litter.
