About Bernadette

Bernadette has provided a small circle of care givers to assist my elderly, wheelchair bound mother with all daily functions for twelve hours/day, during the past six months. Her aides form personal relationships for those they care for. They are patient, and sensitive to the phenomenon known as “sun-downers” syndrome among the elderly with dementia, who are alert and active most of the day, but mentally become confused and less functional with tiredness at bedtime. Whether the transition is gradual, or abrupt, my mother has been assisted effectively. They are honest people whom I will continue to trust and hire, as long as my parents shall live. Finally, when misunderstandings or misinterpretations, or mistakes occur, which will happen when humans are working long hours helping humans, we have always been able to resolve difficult situations, with respect and agreement, often improving the experience for everyone. Our intention is to have our parents remain at home, which wouldn’t be possible without the help we receive from Bernadette Services.
