About Bernadette

I'd describe my personality as reliable, compassionate, adaptable, and patient. I enjoy caring for seniors because I love being a comforting and dependable presence during a stage of life where dignity, patience, and companionship matter so much. I also enjoy hearing about their life stories and experiences because there is always something meaningful to learn from each person. I began private caregiving in 2020 and have cared for 3 seniors. I also have hospital experience in adult med-surg, geriatrics, and pediatric oncology, bone marrow transplant units. My skills include recognizing and reporting changes in condition promptly (Caught a stroke), safe mobility assistance and injury prevention, and providing support with hygiene, skincare, meals, routines, companionship, and emotional care. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with loved ones, exploring San Francisco, and staying organized at home.
