About Berit

As a caregiver with five years of experience, I'm committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment for children. I have babysat and taken care of my sister for 5 years, as well as being a recreation lead with the city of Oakland for the past three years, and providing STEM programming with them for children aged 0-5. I prioritize making true connections with the children and families I work with, expanding to tutoring and driving jobs with some of my children from camp/afterschool. I have a passion for making a deep positive impact, and fostering growth and development. I believe in open communication with families. While I'm comfortable enforcing household rules, I prioritize a nurturing approach. I'm comfortable caring for up to three children, ranging from infants to preteens. I love anything creative, and would love to prep art or science projects to enjoy together. In addition to my experience, I've completed First Aid and CPR training. I am a first year student at UCSD
