About Ben

I'd describe my personality as enthusiastic, caring, and versatile. I like tutoring because it is very rewarding to help people, especially kids since you can teach them knowledge that they will use for the rest of their lives. I'm looking for a job that allows me to do things that I am passionate about. This includes math, guitar, chess, and working with kids. I hope to be able to tutor in one or more of those subjects. I started tutoring when I was 15. I was a teachers assistant at my religious school, helping with the third grade classroom and tutoring middle schoolers. In my spare time, I like to go hiking and camping, play chess, play guitar and ukulele, and play basketball. One thing you should know about me is that I have a variety of experience working with children and have always been proud of the work I've done. Patience, fun, and positivity are my top three skills as a tutor and I believe all of them to be important to insuring a child's success.
