We were so lucky to have Benna care for our 18-month-old daughter four days a week over the past two months, and she was truly incredible. From the start, Benna not only respected how important our daughter’s routine was, but also suggested thoughtful adjustments that actually improved her overall schedule.

We’re a screen-free family with a very active toddler who needs constant engagement throughout the day, and Benna met her energy with ease. She kept her stimulated with endless enriching activities and took her on daily mini-adventures — from exploring different parks to visiting the library and more — which we so appreciated.

Benna was exceptionally communicative, sending regular updates and sweet photos that gave us complete peace of mind. Her experience with toddlers is clear — she understands how they operate and is deeply in tune with their needs. She also supported so many developmental milestones, from potty curiosity to learning the alphabet to safely holding hands on busy NYC streets.

She was always on time, and flexible when we needed her to be, like meeting us at a pediatrician's appointment midday. Most importantly, we never had to worry — we knew our daughter was in the best, most capable hands. While our time with Benna was short-term, we’ll absolutely be hiring her again whenever we need childcare. She’s a gem.

Benna watched our 5 yr old and 1 yr old while my wife and I attended an event out of town. She was attentive to their needs, communicated well with my wife, and made everything stress-free. When we returned to the hotel room that evening, both kids were peacefully asleep. We highly recommend her for reliable and thoughtful childcare. Thanks again.

Benna was amazing! We hired her for a date night. Our daughter had so much fun throughout the day and was fast asleep when we got home. We got stuck in traffic on the way home, and Benna was incredibly understanding. I highly recommend her!

Benna took care of our 2 year old son for 2 weeks while our nanny was away, and we feel so lucky to have found her! Our son immediately bonded with her, and didn’t even care when we left! Benna was a wonderful, warm and patient sitter for my 8yo and 9mo old. Though this is the first non-relative sitter we've ever had, immediately my family and I felt comforted by her presence. My daughter raved about Benna the next morning as she played many games with her patiently, and both kids were peacefully asleep when we got home. Benna covered about one or two dates a month for the first 9 months of our daughter’s life. We are moving away from NYC and are so sad to have to find another Benna. She helped us sleep train and teach baby to eat solids. She genuinely cared for our daughter. We’re so grateful to have found her and hope she continues to bring other families peace of mind.

Benna is a fantastic babysitter who I recommend without reservation! We were in town for a few weeks and she took care of our 4 and 9 y/o for several evenings. After only two visits, my very shy 4 year-old asked when Benna was coming back and when we told him, he said "hooray!" She has a wonderful way of talking to the kids and communicates to us how the night has been very well. She is also super fast via text which is great. We feel SO LUCKY to have connected with Benna!

Benna has been fantastic with my one-year-old son. She has provided date-night babysitting for us in the past and most recently, watched my son from 9am-5:30pm for a few weeks, while our nanny was away. In all instances, she is warm, engaging and compassionate. She kept my son busy all day, visiting parks and play spaces. She is reliable and proactively provides updates and pictures throughout the day. I felt very comfortable with my son in her care. I highly recommend her to other parents and will use her services again.

We've been relying on Benna to help with our toddler on evenings and weekends for over a year. She was the first sitter we asked in and she put us immediately at ease! Benna is great with our little one-she approaches him with real sweetness but also a keen respect for his developmental stage.  We know that he is in safe hands with her. Benna is also so supportive of us as first time parents. We love her genuine warmth and kindness and are so grateful to have found her.

Benna is awesome! She was our full time nanny over the summer for our 4 month old daughter and continues to watch her now from time to time on weekends or when needed. She is responsible, caring, honest, communicative and always on-time. We needed someone reliable to watch our 3 year old and make him feel comfortable while we went out one night while visiting NYC. Benna was all that and more. Incredibly punctual, professional, friendly, caring, outgoing! She had all the qualities we could have hoped for. Our son gave her a glowing review in the morning! We wish she lived near us, as we would use her again in a heartbeat!

Benna was absolutely wonderful with our 1 year old son. We needed a last minute sitter and she came to the rescue! We felt safe knowing our son was in her care. They had a picnic lunch and spent the day outside in the park - then she put him down for his afternoon nap. Our son was in a great mood when we returned. We will definitely work with her again!

Benna was wonderful with my 9 month old daughter! We were visiting from out of town and she helped us while we attended a wedding. Our little girl was happy and had so much fun!

We had a great experience with Benna as a short-term (2 week), full-time childcare provider for our toddler.  She had a great communication approach to make sure she understood our expectations and scheduling needs - she asked lots of good questions and made it clear she knew what she was doing but also wanted to match our parenting style and preferences.  She had a great demeanor and made sure our daughter had a fun-filled day while staying on schedule for naps and meals.  Our daughter warmed up to her immediately and it was great to see a trusting and kid-level relationship start so quickly.  All in all a great experience!
