About Benjamin

I worked for A Happy Dog Day Camp for several months before leaving, due to scheduling problems with school. This work gave me great experience with a wide variety of dogs from Chihuahuas to Great Danes. I believe I have a much greater understanding of particular breed tendencies than I did before. My job included watching over the dogs, giving medications, and preparing food. I volunteered for the Miller Park Zoo Junior Zookeeper Program for four years and Sterile Feral for one year. Doing so gave me the opportunity to assist zookeepers with preparing food and medications as well as helping to maintain the zoo. Sterile Feral is a service that helps to lower the amount of stray cats by spaying and neutering the feral adults and adopting out the kittens that are young enough to adjust. I have also grown up around cats and dogs my whole life, and it wouldn't be complete without them. I am currently a pack leader to a 2-year-old energetic Husky and his older 'brother', a 4-year-old Shepherd mix.
