About Benjamin

My mission in life is to create real human connection. I have done a lot of work with people with disabilities, so I know what it's like to be a companion for someone who feels marginalized. I'm a great listener with a calm and confident demeanor. I'd describe my personality as empathetic, creative, and honest. I like caring for seniors because I learn so much from my elders. I'm looking for a job that doesn't require the entire day, in which I can feel I have been useful to someone; and built a meaningful connection with them. I started caring for seniors when I began work though my nonprofit Bright Invention. We created The Senior Theater Project, bringing to life the stories seniors told at senior care facilities. In my spare time, I like to swim, hike and improvise! One thing you should know about me is that I am on time. My skills include cognitive engagement, creative improvisation, and guiding through a clear sequence of events.
