As first-time parents, I was nervous about entrusting someone else with the care of our newborn. From the moment Ben joined us full time beginning our son’s first week home from the hospital (yes, you read that correctly, one week!), it was clear we had found someone extraordinary. Ben cared for our baby with such tenderness, patience, and skill, quickly earning our complete trust. Ben took care of all of our baby son’s basic needs with incredible attention to detail—preparing his bottles, making his meals, and keeping him happy, healthy, and thriving. Thanks to Ben’s years of experience, our baby boy hit milestones so quickly that it amazed us. Ben created a nurturing environment where he could grow, learn, and flourish. More than just a nanny, Ben became family—lovingly known as “Uncle Ben.” He brought warmth and joy into our home every day, and his presence made a profound difference during our son’s first year of life. It was also deeply meaningful to us to have a caregiver who is a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community, someone we connected with and whose values aligned with our own. We are endlessly grateful for Ben’s care, and we cannot recommend him highly enough to any family seeking a devoted, reliable, and truly exceptional caregiver. We were so sad when our son transitioned to a Montessori school shortly after his first birthday, but Ben is still also very much involved in our son’s life and most recently watched him for a week when he had the flu and had to stay home from school. Ben’s impact on our son’s life, and on ours, will always hold a special place in our hearts. Any family would be so lucky to have him.
