About Belma

Hi! My name is Belma. I was born and raised in Chicago and completed my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from UIUC. I have four years of seasonal daycare experience and taught 3rd grade for two years at a school in Edgewater. Currently, I am a parent educator at the Infant Welfare Society while I complete my masters in counseling at National Louis! I am new to this platform so I am in the process of completing the reference section of my profile. I believe in teaching children through hands on experience and instilling confidence. Whether babysitting or tutoring, I am skilled and qualified to individualize learning to suit the needs of all children. I have my ELL certification and am able to work with children who speak another language. I also have four years of experience working with children with learning disabilites and gifted children. I meet your child where they are at to discover what helps them blossom and best support them in their development!
