About Bella

Hi! I'm Bella, a former BASIS elementary teacher with 6 years of classroom experience and a mom in North Scottsdale. I recently decided to get back to the part of teaching I love most: working directly with kids and helping things click. I offer one-on-one tutoring for elementary students in reading, phonics, math, homework help, skill reinforcement, and enrichment. I tailor sessions to each child and like to use games, manipulatives, reading activities, hands-on practice, and encouragement instead of relying on worksheets. I'm patient, upbeat, reliable, and comfortable working with different learning styles. I'm also happy to give parents quick updates and adjust our focus based on schoolwork, assessments, and goals. I'm keeping my schedule intentionally small and am mainly looking for recurring families in North Scottsdale. In-home tutoring may be available depending on location, or we can meet at a nearby public spot.
