About Bekalu

My caregiving journey began at just 10 y/o when I became the primary caregiver for my younger siblings and mother after my father passed away. This responsibility instilled in me a deep sense of resilience as well as a love for cooking. I also gained crucial skills in time management, patience, and empathy working as a nanny in high school for two years. As a Computer Science major at UCLA, my background in math and science can also aide your children if they need additional academic support . I genuinely enjoy working with children because I believe caregivers have a profound influence on children's development. My goal is to create a positive environment where children feel safe, valued, and inspired to learn and grow. Thank you for your consideration and I look forward to the opportunity.
