About Beka

I began regularly babysitting from the age of 11 but had child care experience even before that. I regularly babysat children well into my 20s until they all grew up. I have always desired to make it my life's mission to work with children so I became an elementary teacher. I love to work with children in every respect. I enjoy teaching them life skills as well as content knowledge in my work. I would love to work with and care for infants and toddlers as well as early age children. I've always had a heart to love and care for precious little ones. I'd describe my personality as patient, calm, and consistant. I like working with kids because I love to learn from them as much as I enjoy teaching them. I love to watch their character develop and grow, to see their problem solving in action. I also love to witness the joy they have in the little things. In my spare time, I like to travel, read, and spend time with family.
