I like caring for seniors because it is rewarding to assist people with tasks they cannot do and develop personal relationships with those I'm serving. I'm looking for a job that allows me to come alongside a family and help their loved one by providing excellent care I started caring for seniors when my husband was in grad school I worked in an assisted living home. More recently, I have been the primary caregiver for a loved one who had Alzheimer's disease. She lived in our home for almost 2 1/2 years. In my spare time, I like to garden, hike, ride my bikes, kayak and enjoy my family One thing you should know about me is my faith is important to me. My husband and I have spent most of our life in ministry. We stepped out of local church ministry to care for our loved one. Now, I'm looking to utilize skills I've recently learned in caregiving to help others. My skills include making adaptations to meet needs, treating the client with respect, showing genuine care for a person
