About Becky

I worked as a LNA for 7 years at the largest hospital in Vermont. I worked in the Resource Department, which allowed me to work on every unit within the hospital. Working on the different units allowed me to learn a wide variety of skills. I worked extensively with the elderly population. I feel I have excellent knowledge, not only medically, but an ability to see the whole individual. I worked on every unit, from ICU to the ER, Oncology, and Psychiatric Units. It has given me the knowledge and ability to work with a broad range of individuals. I also worked on Maternity, helping with the newborns, and spent countless hours on the Pediatric Unit. I was often called to the floor to work one on one with children who had special needs. I have 2 daughters, who are now beautiful young women. I truly learned my most valuable lessons, caring for them. I feel there is nothing more amazing, than seeing the world through the eyes of a child. I most recently cared for my great nephew. I cared for him one day a week, starting as a newborn and until he was 2. We enjoyed finger painting, splashing in puddles and building endless roadways for his cars. I feel at home caring for children.
