I have been working in US for almost 3 years taking care of kids. I also worked in a daycare in Brazil taking care of multiple kids of different ages. My experience with children started a long time ago when I was my brother's babysitter for many years. I'm good at all aspects of childcare including, preparing nutritious food, getting kids to eat, setting sleep schedules, and organizing and cleaning up after a day of fun. I love to play outside, go to parks, teach kids to dance, sing, do arts and crafts, read books and engage in different kinds of games. I love seeing children develop and learn new things, and believe this happens best when I identify and respect their boundaries, and create an environment where they can express their feelings freely. I focus on providing a positive education with lots of affection, anchored by a reliable routine. I'm looking forward to helping your children grow and develop in a happy and healthy environment
Bia is a total gem. She has been an indispensable part of our family since she started caring for our daughter at 3 months old, and has now been with us for one and a half wonderful years as our baby became a toddler. I say she is part of our family because I trust her completely, and the bond she has developed not only with my daughter, but also with our preschooler son and with us parents is truly special. This is because Bia herself is truly special – she is kind, warm, dependable, patient, joyful, responsible, respectful, and above all, loving. From day one, she seamlessly integrated her care with our parenting style and habits, while also equally drawing upon her own intuition, careful observation, and years of childcare expertise. While she is always respectful of our preferences, she suggests and implements her own countless solutions to tackle everything from bottle refusal to sleep regressions and picky eating—you name it, Bia can handle it. She manages all of this because she is an excellent communicator, she is observant, she balances attention to detail with common sense, and she takes feedback and direction with ease. You really feel that she is on your team and wants the best for your child and your family. Her role evolved naturally as our daughter matured, and she is just as great with tiny babies as she is with active and opinionated toddlers. Since the beginning, she would take our daughter outside on daily outings, challenging her while nurturing her, exposing her to new environments and new ways to learn and play while always sticking to a consistent routine and appropriate sleep schedule, providing just enough structure balanced with fun. She is also unbelievably punctual, hardworking, and attentive to safety and cleanliness. If you work from home like I do, she is a joy to have in the house—hilarious, intelligent, positive, and fun to be around, and I can focus on work knowing that Bia will be there to take care of everything else. Most of all, I truly know that Bia loves our daughter with her whole heart and would go above and beyond for her. When my daughter runs to the door each morning squealing with joy to see Bia, I know that that love goes both ways. What more could a parent want?
