Hello! I am a UC Berkeley alum (BA in English) and a local tutor with 4 years of personalized tutoring and recent classroom experience at CHS. In tutoring, I create an engaging and patient environment where students can succeed at their own pace. I adapt my teaching by observing student interactions with new material and incorporating different activities and discussions to suit their needs. When concepts feel challenging, I break them up into clear steps. I believe open and clear communication with families is essential for building trust and ensuring we meet goals together, so I provide parents with detailed progress reports/updates after tutoring sessions. I'm ready to support with Spanish, English, Portuguese, writing, college application support, and study skills. I look forward to helping students grow and succeed! My rate varies based on location, subject level, and hours of tutoring/week. The range is $50-65/hr, but I am flexible, so feel free to reach out!
