About Beata

I have 6 formal years of experience babysitting and nannying both at home in Northern California and here in Chi while getting my Bachelor's in Sociology and Political Science. I'm #2 of 4 siblings in my family, and have helped family friends with childcare since my early teens. During college, I lived with my aunt, uncle, and cousins (then 2 and 5) for 2 years, supporting and learning from them daily. My most recent experience is with infants and toddlers 4-24 months, but I have also worked with elementary ages (5-9) and young teens (10-14), and I'm comfortable and willing to care for all. My approach is hands-on, adventurous (I love the outdoors!), and adaptive. I enjoy reading and singing and am happy to play games in and outside, facilitate crafts, and of course make forts (I'll tidy up!). With babies, I engage in developmentally appropriate interaction and activities, and am happy to support your parenting style. My rate varies on number of children. Thanks for your interest!
