Hello, I'm a 56-year-old mother of 4 ( now independent adults) , I was lucky to be a stay at home mom until all of my kids left to college, then I enjoyed a couple of part time positions working in an assisted living community , hired by family members privately as a personal caregiver, taking care of their loved ones . I helped with daily personal care , medication discharge, daily activities, cooking and companionship, it comes easy to me to be able to connect with my clients, keeping them engaged and active. It's not just a job for me , I take care of them like I would take care of a family member. I was taking care of my mom after she was diagnosed with Alzheimer's before she moved to a private assisted living facility .
