Hello, I'm a 56-year-old mother of 4 ( now independent adults) , I was lucky to be a stay at home mom until all of my kids left to college, then I enjoyed a couple of part time positions working in an assisted living community taking care of an elderly lady and a gentleman with early stage of Alzheimer's disease, iI helped with daily care , activities, , cooking and companionship, it comes easy to me to be able to connect with elders, keeping them engaged and active. For the last year I was taking care of my mother with stage 2 Alzheimer's, I have a polish background with a lot of cooking experience ( although I prefer a healthier version then traditional polish dishes) , when I visit my homeland we still spend a good portion of every day in the kitchen, exchanging recipes , I enjoy an active lifestyle, movies ( I don't watch TV) books , music , animals and nature.
