About Basil

I believe every student has a unique potential that can be unlocked with support. My goal for every student is to build confidence and a love for learning, not just memorization. I strive to create an engaging supportive and patient environment to promote learning. I try to vary my teaching strategies, incorporating visual aids, hands-on activities and open discussions to encourage curiosity. Communication is key so I would like to regularly check in with parents so they can play an active role in their child's learning. To keep momentum I break down tough problems into small steps and celebrate every small win. The best part of tutoring is seeing a student's successes big and small. Every student can achieve their goals with support and I look forward to helping you on this journey.
