About Barbie

My husband and I live in NW Loveland. I raised 5 children who are now all successful adults. We have 12 grandchildren. We are older at 58 & 60. While I was raising my children, I worked for The Children's Advocacy Center, The local hospital where we lived, and taught math at the middle school there. I became successful as a basketball coach, a swim timer, and a Girl Scout Leader where I stepped up as the Service Unit Leader for our area. I have had a lot of experience with children, quality leadership of students and believe they need to be around adults who are not afraid to get their hands dirty and also understand that children depend on us to give them the best care possible. I do know CPR and First Aid and do need to be re certified. I have practiced CPR and First Aid since I was a teenager in 4-H and FFA and as young adult and joined the army.
