About Barbara

I'd describe my personality as fun loving, talkative, and comforting. I love working with kids because they are always learning and enjoy creativity. I'm looking for a jobs that fit my current schedule. I started teaching when I graduated high school. I worked in childcare centers while getting my CDA and Associates in Early Childhood and having 5 children of my own. I left the classroom after 20 years to be a Professional Nanny. I have 11 years experience. In my spare time, I like to read novels, shop, be outdoors, and finish projects that vary from arts&crafts to cleaning out closets. I also take online classes staying current in my professional field. One thing you should know about me is I allow children to safely learn through all of their senses. Sometimes this is messy, but I always clean back up. My skills include the ability to offer unconditional love to children, patience, and implementing creative thinking for learning opportunities during each stage of development.
