About Barbara

Hi! My name is Barbi. I'd like to move to Connecticut, so I'm looking for a live- in position that pays on the books. I've worked for families in Long Island NY & Connecticut. The ages of the children I cared for were 2 weeks - 14 years old. I got them ready for school, picked them up from school, took them to classes, to the library, arranged play dates, assisted with homework, prepared breakfast, packed lunch & helped with dinner & ran errands . While the kids were at school, I did their laundry, organized their closets and playrooms. During these 15 + years, I worked with special needs kids, such as kids with allergies, asthma, ADHD, Autism. Children usually feel comfortable around me quickly. I'm very organized and like to keep everything clean. From my experience, I understand how hard it is for working parents to manage a career, raise children, and keep their house in order. I don't smoke or drink. I drive & used to compete swimming. I'm CPR & first aid certified.
