About Barbara

Hi, I just wanted to share a little about myself. People tell me I'm a cheerful and happy person. Veterans tell me I'm easy to talk to. I love to see the good side in everything and everybody. We are only here on this earth for a short time, and we need to help one another enrich our lives to the fullest. With that being said, I have recently retired from a long career in nursing (BSN~ RN). My career started out in nursing homes, critical care ( ICU &CCU), surgery center, CSH, and the PTSD clinic at the VA Hospital. During this time I became a Certified Mental Health Nurse and worked closely with the suicidal team. My experience also included taking care of my mother, until she passed. In retirement, I'm looking for a little flexibility to be able to continue helping my son and daughter with life, but also giving back to others.
