About Barbara

I have been a caregiver for over 30 years. I started with my mom at the age of 24. I would leave my mother when she had live-in clients to give her a break. I am now working for ComfortKeepers, been with the company for 8 years. I am first aid and CPR certified. I also have my PCA certificate, and I am working on my CNA certificate. Meals, light housekeeping, assist with showers, medication reminder, transportation to and from doctors' appointments, run errands, walking or using a wheelchair to enjoy the outside. Interacting with the client as long as they would allow me to. Reading is one of my favorites and putting puzzles together. I will travel if need be. It's been my passion since I started. I will go above and beyond my duties. It makes me happy to know that I can bring joy to someone else's loved one. I am allergic to cats and love dogs. I treat each client with respect and as if they were my own parent... Live, Laugh, and Love.
