About Barbara

I have raised three exceptionally bright, creative, generous and kind children who are happy, thriving and living around the world: Greece, Netherland, NYC. I have an innate desire to nurture and care for other young people. I guess some of us never lose that sense of joy and pure delight at seeing children grow and blossom, provided the right environment. I have volunteered extensively at my children's schools and have loved all aspects of child-rearing. May I sight my own successful examples of raising a daughter with an MFA from Yale, a son with a BA from University Arizona, a son who is an entrepreneur . Childhood development continues to be of profound interest to me and I would surely embrace the joys and challenges through trips to the library, museums, theater, music, sports events. Let's make learning fun! I am experienced in Eldercare also. For 5 years, I've cared for a 97-year-old woman with dementia/Alzheimer's, and a 92-year-old gentleman with a broken hip.
