Hello, my name is Barbara. I have cared for children of all ages. I love kids and care for them as if they were my own. I worked at Greentree Daycare/Preschool in Wheaton from 2001 to 2004 as a teachers assistant for 2-year-olds then was made lead teacher before I left to nanny for a family with two children. I nannied for this family for 11 years and had the pleasure of seeing them grow into highschoolers. I have two grown daughters of my own and have also taken care of nieces and nephews (of which I have 16). I enjoy broadening kids horizons by taking them to different places, teaching them new skills, and reading stories to them. I am also a very big fan of crafting!!!

Barbara was like a fourth member of our family for just over three years while helping to raise our now nearly four-year-old daughter. Hiring Barbara was a decision we will never regret. She was an absolute blessing and stepped into our house every day with a smile, left with a smile, and shared many laughs in between. We trusted her completely and relied on her unceasingly. She respected our family values and loved our daughter as if she were her own. Sadly, we moved away, and we hope that another family will get to cherish her as much as we did.
