I am the proud mother of 4 grown children, including a set of twins. I also recently became a grandma!! I would like to offer my care to families looking to find a loving, trustworthy and dependable sitter for their young children. I am extremely comfortable caring for very young infants as well as school-aged children. My experience raising twins has definitely prepared me for handling all types of situations as well as caring for children close in age. I've been married for 34 years and have a stable home life. My children range in age from 21-30. I can honestly say that I miss the infant stage the most. I am a nurturing and energetic individual who loves the outdoors, reading, decorating, gardening and collecting James Avery jewelry. I LOVE all pets and I consider it a bonus if you have one. I don't mind working a few hours at a time or full days. I would be open to meal preparation as well. Thank you so much for your consideration!

Barbara started working for our family when my oldest son was 20 months old and my daughter was about 2 months old. We were in the midst of sleepless nights and struggling with my daughter’s intense colic when she started to work for us, and I couldn’t be more grateful for her time with my family! Barbara is kind, easy going, attentive to detail, and most importantly has great intuition with kids. I was able to be at ease knowing my daughter was safe and in good hands with Barbara! She was patient and attentive to my daughter as we handled her colic and reflux issues and did exactly what I asked to keep my daughter comfortable. My older son can be very shy, and he warmed up to Barbara almost immediately proving that her demeanor and personality is safe and comfortable for kids. I will cherish all of the laughter I heard from my kids when Barbara was around, and she will always be like family to us. I am excited for more families to have the pleasure of getting to have Barbara love and care for their babies!
