About Barbara

I was a full time nanny for the same family for over 6 years, and have also worked temporarily with many families as a babysitter, or short term nanny. I have experience ranging from ages newborn to teen, children with special needs and multiple kids in the same household. I love involving the kids in creative activities that help with their development, arts and crafts it's a favorite of mine, playing outside, going to parks, prepping snacks. I have successfully potty trained and helped kiddos learn how to read, write, ride a bike or scooter. I also love animals and have helped families with their pups as well. Most recently I've been working as a certified nursing assistant at a hospital and have my CPR and First Aid certifications up to date. I love helping people at my current job, but I miss being part of the incredible process that is giving support to a family while they raise their children. I'd love to hear more about the job and see if we'd be a good fit!
