Thus, although I was once new at being a nanny -- I have always loved being a mom! I am dependable, tender-hearted, patient, responsible, flexible, and have full-range experience when it comes to caring for kids. My 16 years working in the public schools are a bonus. I have experience with tutoring, arts & crafts, sensory motor development as well as age-appropriate educational/fun activities with children. Thus, I am engaging and have a fun personality that kids love and enjoy making them smile. I believe that it is most important that children feel safe with their caregivers, so I have a gentle approach. Thus, I focus on the child and am not available for any 'additional' light housekeeping. Thus, I am happy to adhere to parental guidelines, but please know that I am very safety conscious.

As a new mom it was my first time having a sitter stay with my 2.5 month old daughter and Barb was fantastic. She was communicative, asked great questions prior and made me feel super comfortable. My baby took to her right away and I will definitely be using Barb again!
