I started tutoring 9 years ago. I currently see students for certain subjects please message me to make sure I cover the subject you are looking for. As a tutor I: - listen - am patient - am focused on effective communication - adapt to the student's learning style - teach students the concepts they need in class (priority to current concepts to get through class, if given time I'm happy to address the missing/weak concepts the student has) - communicate what changes the student needs to implement (ex: study habits) to become a stronger student - *when given enough time, I teach students to learn to become independent learners so they can tackle any subject I have had many experiences with different types of students. I have taught 6-year-olds how to read their first book as well as helped parents re-enter college to pursue their dream career. I have also started online tutoring to help people that I am not able to meet in person.
