About Barbara Jean

I have extensive experience caring for children as I am a mother of three grown daughters all of whom, thankfully, have graduated from college. I was fortunate to be a stay-at-home mother while my husband had a rigorous profession as a neurosurgeon and wasn't home very much so I basically raised my three daughters myself. Thus, I feel confident in my abilities to give excellent care to all ages of children, pre-teens, and teenagers. I love motivating and teaching all these ages and I do this by giving them a lot of love, nurturing, and encouragement. I have an ESL teaching certificate and I'm also fluent in English, Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese. Also, I have extensive teaching experience as I was a volunteer Spanish teacher, teaching for several years when my two oldest daughters attended School in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA. for first to fourth grade. I was also a nursery school teacher for ages two to five, and I would bring my youngest daughter to school with me.
