About Skylar

Sky watched our 3 kids over about 3-4 years. She was the first person that was not family that we trusted to look after the kids. Our kids were 9 months, 6, and 8 years old when we first had her over. After about 10 minutes of leaving the kids the first time I got anxious and wanted to come back home. When I pulled out my phone to text Sky we were coming back, I had a picture message from her that showed everyone was perfectly fine. I will always appreciate her for that peace of mind. We appreciated that she had experience in the health care field and felt confident she'd be able to handle an emergency. Our youngest is nonverbal and autistic and she always made sure to know the things he liked and was patient and gentle with him. She was so fun to the big kids that they would request us to go on dates so she could come over to play. We would've kept her forever to look after the kids had she not moved. Her responsibilities when watching the kids included keeping them entertained, which she did inside and out. She fed them and cleaned up any kitchen messes. She changed diapers too. We had her look after pets while on vacation too. Duties included feeding and watering cats, a crab, and lizard, cuddles, and cleaning a litter box. I think she watered plants and picked up packages on those trips too. Sky always had a calming, laid back attitude.
